District Overview & Description

The NorthEast Washington Educational Service District (NEWESD) 101 Consortium is composed of nine rural districts working collaboratively to design a new principal and teacher evaluation system that will be used jointly across all participating districts. Each district varies in student demographics, number of staff, and number of schools. Table 1 presents each of the districts participating in the consortium, along with the number of schools in each district.
