A Note About Roles
Two district-level roles
- District Evaluator (DE) – Evaluates principals, can create questions (goal setting,
reflections, pre-conference, post-conference), and can assign questions to
individuals. - District Administrator (DA) – Can supplement the district selected framework, manages district-wide evaluation resources placed in eVAL, can create and assign questions, tells eVAL the evaluation assignments for principals and teachers. Also can setup practice sessions.
Three school-level roles
- Principal (PR) – Can create and assign questions, evaluates teachers and participates in their own evaluation.
- School Administrator (AD) – Can manage school-wide evaluation resources placed in eVAL, can create and assign questions and setup practice sessions. Also tells eVAL the evaluation assignments for teachers. Also can setup practice sessions.
- Teachers (T1 up to T20) – Participates in their evaluation process.
Usernames and Passwords
First the easy part…all passwords are the word “password”.
The username must communicate the district, school (for three of the five roles), and the role of the user. This ensures the correct framework is loaded.
District-level user names look like this:
- District Name{space}SD{space}Role Abbreviation
- Example (Aberdeen District Evaluator): Aberdeen SD DE
School-level user names look like this:
- District Name{space}SD{space}School{space}#{space}Role Abbreviation
- Example (Aberdeen District, School 1, Teacher 5): Aberdeen SD School 1 T5
